Why are people leaving Florida?

Big news in Florida, for the first time in 63 years, the Sunshine State is showing a net loss in people; fewer moving in vs moving out. This article says that the reason is that the cost of living in Florida has been going up due to higher utility bills, hurricane insurance and taxes. I don't put the outrage that many FL residents feel about these increases together with the population changes.

People have always been leaving Florida for many reasons but more importantly fewer people are moving to FL. The reason is largely the economy. Many who move to FL do so to get out of the cold north and they take their money and move to FL but with the economy going south and people retirement savings tanking, their homes in Ohio not worth what they once were, they can't afford to go and comfortably live there. Why are people leaving, because the job market in FL is not that great, schools suck, sprawl and traffic are crazy, crime is high, and the sense of community is not there for families as you'd find else ware.
